Music video of the project Abacay entitled Guitar...

This is a slightly older work. This is a music video for the song Guitar Girl by the music project Abacay. A basic idea was flexibly filmed or implemented with a lot of spontaneity in less than one day. Video shooting and video production was done in full HD at the time. 4K/UHD wasn't available back then.

A challenging combination: demands and a tight budget?

It is often not feasible to achieve both. However, Köln Videoproduktion is the exception to the rule. We use modern, latest-generation cameras of the same type with large 1-inch image sensors. Optimum image quality is guaranteed even under difficult lighting conditions. Programmable motor pan-tilts enable remote control of the cameras and thus contribute to reducing costs by minimizing personnel costs.

Multi-camera video production (parallel recording with multiple cameras)

Köln Videoproduktion is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. Professional cameras of the same type are used. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. Köln Videoproduktion already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video production of theater performances, concerts, readings and more

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. The multi-camera recording makes it possible to capture the many areas of the event from different perspectives in the picture. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

Video recording of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. The time required can be reduced if the video recordings are conversations and interviews without an audience.

Editing of video and audio material

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. If additional text and image material is to be integrated, this is not a problem. Logos and blurbs can also be designed and integrated. If you would like video material from you or from other sources to be integrated, you are welcome to submit this. Audio tracks from concert recordings can also be remixed and remastered.

Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Köln Videoproduktion offers small batch manufacturing of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
